Accessible rooms are standard rooms and feature:

  1. Two queen Mountain Luxury beds.
  2. Located on the 3rd or 4th floor, with elevator access.
  3. Streamlined furniture providing comfortable moving space.
  4. Light switches and peephole located no higher than 48”.
  5. Guestroom and bathroom doors are 30” wide with offset hinges for
    wider opening.
  6. Roll-in shower with grab bars and hand held shower head.
  7. Roll-up bathroom counters with handicap compatible sink.
  8. 19” high toilet with adjacent grab.
  9. Light switches and sink controls that do not require fine motor skills.
  10. Removable hangers with lower closet bar kit upon request.
  11. Portable shower chair on request.
  12. Strobe lights and buzzer activated fire alarms.
  13. Room size approx 300 sq ft.
  14. Total of 4 rooms, renovated in February 2011.
