Staff Residence ranges in price from $18 - $28 per day depending on the type of accommodation and is subject to availability. Qualified employees in good standing with Banff Lodging Company will receive a daily subsidy towards this rent starting at $10 per day. This subsidy will decrease by $1.00 per day after every 3 months of employment.
To be eligible to live in our subsidized staff residence, an employee must be at least 18 yrs of age, work a minimum of 30 hrs per week for the company and must provide a criminal record check. All locations are within easy walking distance to work and all town amenities. A security deposit will be collected to ensure the proper upkeep of the property; this money is fully refundable providing the residence is left clean and undamaged. Cleanliness of the common areas (living room, kitchen and bathroom) is the joint responsibility of the staff in residence as a whole. Each staff member is expected to contribute in keeping all common areas clean and to follow the posted cleaning schedules. All Staff Residences are non-smoking. No pets are allowed. No visitors after 9:00 p.m. or before 10:00 a.m.
Full-time employees will receive $500 on his/her first anniversary date. (President, Directors and General Mangers are excluded from this program). Each year $100 is added to reach $1000 (year 6+).
The next Olympic athlete starts here. We will subsidize rentals from the Ski shop located in the Inns of Banff to employee children (aged 12 and under as of December 31).
