A quiet spot along the river where you'll see a variety of Banff's birds including Sandpipers, Yellow Warblers, and Western Tanagers. From here, a footpath leads along the north edge of the river all the way to Bow Falls.
This is also a great spot to view the famous Bow River Bridge. The bridge was built in 1923 and is adorned by small river stones, and capped by local Rundle rock. Calgary artist James L. Thompson designed the six indian head reliefs cast in concrete that adorn both sides of the bridge structure.
